Hello,
I have a question, which was similarily discussed here, but it was recommended there to open a new discussion:
I had been working with Ansys 19.1 at the Computer of our University the whole time, but saved it on a hard disk, as we don't have a lot of space at our Universitys accounts. At home I opended the Project on my Laptop, where I installed Ansys 19.2, changed only a few geometry parameters in Desing Modeler and saved the whole project on the hard disk again (overwriting the old one).
E-pos 80mm thermal printer driver download. Dec 09, 2019 I'm studying at the Technical University Dresden which still uses ANSYS 19.2. I can find only newer version of ANSYS (2019R1 to 2019R3). On basis of compatibility problems with already created files I need the ANSYS 19.2 Version. Are there opportunities to download ANSYS 19.2 Student? Further information on the current ANSYS Release 19.2 is available in the download menu under 'Getting Started'. These notes include information about: Highlights of Release, Platform Support Documents, Important Notices, Downloads & Prerequisites, Installation; ANSYS 19.2 only supports 64bit operating systems.
Now, back at University, I get an error, that Ansys 19,1 is not able to open the Project, as it was saved in a higher Version.
Is there anything I can do about this to make it work at the universities Computer too? I can't simply download 19.2 there, as I don't have Administration rights there. Or simply bad luck and doing better the next time?
Best regards,
Stephan

Hi Stephan,
Depending on the geometry, model, analysis types, etc. You might be able to extract the info from your 19.2 project and rebuild the project in 19.1 But for the details how to do this and if it's applicable to your project, I would recommend to ask that in Physics Simulation -> Structural Mechanics section.
For the future project, I recommend to request your university to update to the 19.2 or 2019 R1. In the meantime, you can just install ANSYS v19.1 student version on your laptop.
Thanks,
Win
