Katsuya Saeki is the playable lead in Kichiku Megane and Kichiku Megane a:r. He initially works at Kikuchi Marketing as a salesman with his best friend Kenji Honda, although he's known for his clumsiness and incapability. I finally get my hands on the highly anticipated BL game for 2007, Kichiku Megane. And I’m already hooked. XDDD

The story is about a 25 year-old unsuccessful salaryman Saeki Katsuya. One day he met a mysterious man Mr. R and received a pair of glasses which can change his life. Whenever he wears the magical glasses, he will transform from a low-self-esteem weak uke to a kichiku seme. LOL

I’m mostly interested in kichiku Katsuya x Mido, kichiku Katsuya x normal Katsuya and Mr. R. XD Mido is a 32 year-old elite salaryman and he’s kind of a kichiku type seme when he’s with the normal Katsuya. But the interesting part is when Katsuya turns into kichiku mode and “attack” Mido. XD If you have played Gakuen Heaven PC game, you probably would know how kichiku Nakajima was. But this is a whole new level compares to that. LOL

Another interesting part is the seiyuus for Katsuya and Mido. Despite the official names, most fans know it’s Hirakawa Daisuke for Katsuya and Yusa Kouji for Mido…;-) Can you imagine Hirakawa x Hirakawa? hehe…that’s what you can get from the game. I’m almost through Katsuya x Mido pairing and I’ll move on to get Hirakawa x Hirakawa next. LOL I absolutely love Hirakawa’s kichiku seme voice…well, be frankly I would love to hear Hirakawa as a uke with kichiku voice …haha (*evil laughs*) I wonder if Mr. R x kichiku Katsuya would happen in the game…

However, the story soon shifts when, as she escapes through the streets, our protagonist bumps into a man named Oz.

Oz is the head of the local mafioso, and he soon chases off her attacker and takes the protagonist under his wing. From there, things begin to get even weirder (if that were possible), and it creates a really enjoyable, exciting story that should have you sitting back and taking in every word, interaction, and moment that takes place.

OZMAFIA!! Might have a rather confusing name, but the actual quality of the writing is excellent. While the Famiglia Oz, her new mafioso family, is just part of the mafia system in town, our heroine soon finds herself battling against all manner of confusing, dangerous incidents and people.

The most interesting part of the story, though, stems around Sundays. On every Sunday, the town returns to its normal state as if nothing had happened. A mutual agreement means that the battles stop as if they never began, yet by Monday return to the same bloodshed and brutality that was seen for the rest of the week.

The story is filled with rich changes that you might find quite confusing at first, and the pace can certainly take some time to get moving at parts. However, the overall style of the writing and the story means that you should have no problem in enjoying this most interesting of visual novels.

Each character comes to life in their own way, and the sheer number of choices that you can make regarding things like love, trust, and decisions all have a major impact on the story. For that reason, you should find that OZMAFIA!! Might be one of the best options on the market for those who are looking for a new adventure via visual novel.
